ITU-IEC produces metadata standard for cross-platform IPTV

Emblaze claims patent fees for use of MPEG-DASH
Jun 12, 2012 – Emblaze (LSE: BLZ) has recently filed a Patent Statement & Licensing Declaration with ISO and the IEC stating that MPEG-DASH incorporates Emblaze's patented streaming technology and, therefore, the use of this technology is subject to a license from Emblaze.

Oct 1, 2007 – The Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) has announced that the DLNA® Networked Device Interoperability Guidelines published in March 2006, and related media formats have been adopted by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and published as international standards IEC 62481-1 and IEC 62481-2.
